Bright Ideas is a 8-week workshop-based business program that teaches high school students basic skills from various areas of business, focusing critically on the entrepreneurship process: build, measure, learn. Additionally, students will use what they learn to create their own start-up company and product.
As a Mentor, your responsibilities will include supporting, facilitating and guiding a team of 4-5 participants through the start-up of their own company. Using your skills and experience, you will have the opportunity to help students establish and develop a basic business foundation. Being a mentor will allow you to implement your expertise by coaching your team as well as, develop your leadership and communication skills.
Estimated Time Commitment: 4-6 hours a week in workshops on Saturdays plus any additional time you choose to put in with your team.
