Bright Ideas is a 9-week entrepreneurship education program that is designed to give high school students an opportunity to explore the world of business. Teams of 4-5 students engage in problem identification, solution development, and market assessment.
This cycle, Bright Ideas will be hosted both online and in-person where students will be given the opportunity to find solutions to an environmental, social, and governance (ESG) problem affecting a specifc industry around the world.
With the help of a university mentor and advice from industry professionals, Bright Ideas provides a low-stakes environment where students are able to experiment and develop new ideas.
At the end of the 9 weeks, each team pitches their business to a panel of judges in the competition for the Bright Ideas Cup.
